On January 4th the price of stamps has risen dramatically

A change from $0.70 to $1.00 an increase of 30 cents per stamp.

This is for what is now to be called Regular Service and take up to 2 working days extra than the old service

Aust Post will offer a Priority service (the old standard service) next business day for small letters BUT at an extra price. In addition to the $1.00 standard postage stamp you must also attach a special PRIORITY stamp which cost an additional $0.50

In other word to get the same old service you had in 2015 the cost has increased from $0.70 to $1.50
